Recipe: Protein Waffles

There are a number of exciting recipes you can make with protein powder . We have found two examples of this with protein waffleswith both chocolate flavor and vanilla flavor! These are healthy protein waffles that you can enjoy with a clear conscience. The recipe is indicative, so you can easily replace some ingredients with others to get the perfect waffles to your taste.

The recipe yields 8 waffles.

This is what you need:

  • 4 eggs
  • 140 grams low-fat cottage cheese or yogurt
  • 120 grams of oatmeal
  • 40 grams of natural protein powder
  • 1 tsp. cardamom
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 tbsp. sugar

This is what you need:

  • 4 eggs
  • 140 grams low-fat cottage cheese or yogurt
  • 120 grams of oatmeal
  • 40 grams of protein powder
  • 1 tsp. cardamom
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 tbsp. sugar

Here's how:

Start by whisking together the eggs and sugar, before adding the protein powder. Then add the cottage cheese and oatmeal and whisk together. Finally, add the cardamom, baking powder and sugar. Then thin with water until you get the desired consistency.

If you want crispy waffles, we recommend adding more water, which will give you a thinner batter. Use a little less water and a thicker consistency if you want soft waffles.

Let the batter rise for 10-15 minutes and bake the waffles until golden.
